Trombonist,
Composer and Educator Joel Yennior has performed and/or recorded with the
Spinners, Robert Goulet, the Miami Symphony Orchestra, Bevan Manson, John
McNeil, John Tchicai, Club D’Elf, and Juliana Hatfield. As a member
of the Grammy-nominated Either/Orchestra since 1998, Joel has recorded three
albums and has toured the U.S. and Europe. Joel grew up in South Orange, NJ,
and studied at the University of Miami, later earning his Masters Degree at
the New England Conservatory in Boston. His teachers have included George
Russell, Ran Blake, John McNeil, Hal Crook, and Scott Hartman. Joel currently
is on the faculty of the New England Conservatory Extension Division.
